A-B Tech World Blog Workshop

What is a blog? What happens when I access a blog? How do I add comments to a blog? How do I incorporate the blog into my courses? Want the answer to these and other blog-related questions.

Come to this informational session on using the new http://abtechworld.blogspot.com blog. Presented by Pete Kennedy and Pam Silvers, this session will help you access and use the blog. NOTE: This is not a session on creating a blog, just on using a blog.

Date: Tuesday, September 9
Time: 9-10 am
Location: Balsam Room 117

Will you be having a class on how to make a blog?

I am happy to see A-B Tech getting more active with blogs. Our county blogs have to go through the school webpages for safety concerns. We have several on the Buncombe County Early College webpage. I have been blogging for years in different settings. My personal blog uses the same theme as this. Please check it out at: http://theteachingjourney.blogspot.com/

My students are very familiar with blogging and I have taught it to other educators as well. I would love to help you with this as part of our collaboration. Please let me know if that would be agreeable. I would love to also showcase Twitter, and Voicethread as tools for instructions and research. Good luck! Lorraine
